A2O LITE are going global. Their debut single ‘NEON’ has landed in the top 10 of two Billboard global charts at once, about two weeks after it came out on October 13.
On Billboard’s charts dated October 31, ‘NEON’ entered the Global 200 at No. 8 in its first week there. On the Global Excl. U.S. chart, it jumped all the way from No. 107 to No. 3. Billboard says the song pulled in 25.9 million streams and 12,000 digital sales worldwide from October 16 to 22, based on data from Luminate.
The song is doing well in Japan too, placing No. 2 on Billboard JAPAN’s Top User Generated Songs chart and No. 5 on its Hot Shot Songs chart, both released October 21. Back home, ‘NEON’ held No. 1 on the Melon Top 100 for 13 straight days, from October 15 to 27.
