A2O LITE’s ‘NEON’ is finding a new audience in Japan. On Oricon’s chart released October 29, the rookie group’s debut single took No. 1 on the Weekly Streaming Surge Ranking for October 19 to 25, and it jumped from No. 48 to No. 5 on Oricon’s main Weekly Streaming Chart over the same week.

That’s a big leap for a debut song, and it adds to a busy run at home. Star News reports ‘NEON’ has held No. 1 on Melon’s TOP100 for 15 straight days, and the song has picked up six music show wins so far, most recently its second straight week on top of ‘Show Champion’. Earlier this week it also landed in the top 10 of two Billboard global charts.
