Baby DONT Cry are coming back soon, and this time Japan gets the new song at the same time as Korea. Their agency P NATION announced on October 26, according to Star News, that the group will release a new digital single, ‘Replay’, on November 4.
P NATION shared a teaser video the same day, and according to Star News it ends with the song title, “November 4th” and “KOR / JP Coming soon.”
There’s a bigger Japan plan behind the timing, too. P NATION says Baby DONT Cry will make their official Japanese debut on January 20 next year with a Japanese debut mini album, ‘DAYBREAK/Replay’. Ahead of that, a Japanese version of ‘Replay’ will come out in Japan alongside the Korean release.
Here’s how P NATION put it, as reported by Star News. The English is kpop/fwd’s translation of the Korean.
“Baby DONT Cry will officially debut in Japan by releasing their Japanese debut mini album ‘DAYBREAK/Replay’ on January 20 next year. Ahead of that, the new digital single ‘Replay,’ which comes out in Korea on November 4, will be released early in Japan in a Japanese version.”
Original Korean
“Baby DONT Cry가 내년 1월 20일 일본 데뷔 미니 앨범 ’DAYBREAK/Replay(데이브레이크/리플레이)’를 발표하고 일본 정식 데뷔를 한다”, “이에 앞서 11월 4일 국내에서 발표하는 새 디지털 싱글 ’Replay’를 일본어 버전으로 현지서 선공개한다”
Baby DONT Cry debuted on June 23 last year with the single ‘F Girl’, then followed it with their second digital single ‘I DONT CARE’. In March this year they released their first mini album, ‘AFTER CRY’, led by the pre-release track ‘Shapeshifter’ and the title track ‘Bittersweet’.
More teasers are on the way before November 4. Until then, you can watch the ‘Replay’ teaser and catch up on the group’s earlier music videos below.
