BLACKPINK’s Lisa won Best Pop at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on September 27 for ‘DREAM’, her single featuring Sakaguchi Kentaro. The ceremony took place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Making history

The win makes Lisa the first Asian solo artist ever to receive Best Pop at the VMAs, and the second Asian artist overall.
