PLAVE are sharing the love with kids around the world! The virtual idol group donated 100 million won to the UNICEF Korea Committee, which announced the gift on November 2 (KST).

The money will go through UNICEF to children around the world facing conflict, disasters and poverty, helping with basics like clean water, nutrition, healthcare and education. It’s the latest step in a partnership that started in August, when PLAVE signed a social contribution agreement with UNICEF Korea and began joining its work for children’s rights.

And they’re not done yet. On November 20, World Children’s Day, PLAVE will be keynote speakers at The Children Festa, a UNICEF Korea event focused on children’s mental health in the digital world. Fittingly for a group that lives between the real and the digital, they plan to send kids a message cheering them on to chase their dreams.

Here’s what PLAVE shared, in the English translation Soompi published:

We hope every child can discover their own potential and envision their future in a safe environment. We hope this donation, however small, can help children facing difficult circumstances. We will continue to stand alongside children so they can make their voices heard and build a better tomorrow.
