The countdown to RESCENE’s comeback just turned into a game. On October 27, the group opened ‘MELODY RUNNER’, a promotional website for their fourth mini album ‘PULSE’, and shared it on their official X account.
The site is a rhythm game built around the album’s big idea: a song’s BPM as a heartbeat. Five characters run to the beat to keep RESCENE’s heart going, and you can pick any of the album’s five tracks to play along with. Clear a round and you unlock hidden photos, plus an early listen to the new songs.
What’s on ‘PULSE’
The title track is ‘With’, joined by ‘Finest Thing’, ‘Baekhwayoran (Inside Out)’, ‘MEME’ and ‘Dragon’. The group also dropped a ‘With’ challenge video the same day, so you can get a first look at the choreography.
RESCENE have been pairing every release with a signature scent, and this time it’s musk. The album is about the moment a song you sent out comes back to you as a voice that lifts you up again, and a connection with fans that carries from the stage into everyday life.
