BIGHIT MUSIC says it will take legal action over false information and malicious posts aimed at TXT. In a notice shared by the group’s official X account on October 22 KST, the agency said rumors about the group had been spreading on social media and online communities, and that it had been dealing with the issue internally.
BIGHIT said it had stayed quiet until now so an official statement wouldn’t spread the rumors further, but decided to act because the attacks had become serious ahead of the group’s comeback. It said it is collecting evidence on Korean and international platforms and will take legal action against those responsible, with “no settlement or leniency.”
The agency asked fans to report malicious posts through HYBE’s artist rights violation report system and said it will keep a zero-tolerance policy.
TXT are preparing to return with the mini album ‘PERFECT STORM’.
