Two TOMORROW X TOGETHER songs from very different chapters just reached new Spotify milestones. Their debut title track ‘CROWN’ has now passed 200 million streams on the platform, and ‘Opening Sequence’ has crossed 100 million.
‘CROWN’ is where it all started. The synth-pop title track from their 2019 debut album ‘The Dream Chapter: STAR’ compares the pain and confusion of growing up to horns sprouting from your head, and it went to No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart back in March 2019.
‘Opening Sequence’ comes from their fourth mini album, ‘minisode 2: Thursday’s Child’ (2022). The song frames a breakup as the opening scene of a movie, and Taehyun and Hueningkai helped write the lyrics. It reached No. 15 on World Digital Song Sales when it came out.
There’s new music on the way, too. TXT’s ninth mini album, ‘PERFECT STORM’, arrives on November 16 at 6 PM KST. It has already passed 300,000 pre-saves on Spotify and sat at No. 1 on the platform’s Top 10 Countdown for four days in a row. Until then, revisit the ‘CROWN’ MV below.
