UNIS is saying goodbye with a song. On September 23 at 6 PM KST, the eight-member group released the digital single ‘Milky Way’, one day after its agency said full-group activities are ending.
The announcement
F&F Entertainment said on September 22 that UNIS’s exclusive contract ends on September 26, 2026. After talks with the members about the contract and what comes next, the company and the group decided to wrap up official activities on the original schedule. F&F thanked fans and said it will support each member’s next step.
UNIS was formed through SBS’s survival show ‘Universe Ticket’ and debuted on March 27, 2024, with the mini album ‘We UNIS’.
‘Milky Way’
The single treats the split as a pause rather than an ending. It borrows the image of the Milky Way, where stars far apart still form one stream. Hyeonju, Nana, Elisia and Yoona helped write the lyrics.
The official music video is on UNIS’s YouTube channel.
