i-dle’s Yuqi has wrapped up her ‘27’ fan concert tour in China, and it ended on an emotional note. All five shows across four cities sold out, drawing 60,000 fans in total, her agency Cube Entertainment said, per Korea JoongAng Daily.
The tour, named after her age to celebrate her 27th birthday, stopped in Guangzhou, Chengdu, Beijing and Shanghai. The last stop was two nights at Shanghai’s Mercedes-Benz Arena on October 30 and 31.
Alongside her earlier solo tracks, she sang songs from her second mini album, ‘27’, which came out in October.
Near the end, Yuqi teared up looking back on the day in 2016 when she left her hometown of Beijing to chase her dream, and she thanked fans for being with her the whole way. “Thank you for loving me though I’m not perfect and supporting the choices I’ve made along the way,” she said, as quoted by Korea JoongAng Daily.
