i-dle’s Yuqi is back with a solo record. Her second mini album, ‘二十七 (27)’, came out on October 8 at 1 PM KST, midnight ET, with a music video for the title track ‘Stay’.
About ‘Stay’
Yuqi helped compose ‘Stay’ and wrote lyrics for it. The song is a snapshot of her life at 27, which is where the album title comes from.
The lead-up
Yuqi announced the comeback on September 23, then rolled out an intro film, the track list, an audio snippet and several sets of concept images. On October 2 she pre-released the video for ‘I Like You’, another song she co-wrote and co-composed. That one is about knowing your own worth instead of letting other people define it.
Both videos are on i-dle’s official YouTube channel.
