Here’s a team-up nobody saw coming: BIGBANG are going to share the 2026 MAMA Awards stage with Dooly the Little Dinosaur, the beloved Korean cartoon character.
Mnet’s business division head Yun Shin-hye shared the news at a press briefing for the awards in Seoul, calling it a meeting between a legendary artist and a legendary character. She said Dooly and his friends will meet artists on the MAMA stage, with BIGBANG as the featured act, and that the team is working to build a stage full of dreams and imagination. Details on what the performance will look like haven’t been shared yet.
BIGBANG were already on this year’s performer lineup, and Mnet also confirmed that actor Park Bo-gum is coming back as host.

The 2026 MAMA Awards take place on November 20 and 21 at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan, under the concept ‘A MUSIC INTERSTELLAR’. Both nights air live on Mnet and stream worldwide, including on Mnet Plus.
